Car portable dvd player and battery effect?

i want to mount a portable dvd player in my sis car as she is driving to canada for summer with kids ,its 12 hrs drive ,just want to know does it`ll effect her car battery.she owns Camry 2001.
Does all portable car dvd players have same battery usage

It affects the car if you plug it into the cigarette lighter, it uses up the accu. If you just use the charged battery in the DVD player it doesn’t do anything to your car.

When the car is on the road, the battery is not used except it is being charged. On the other hand dynamo replaces battery function, so there is no question of affecting car battery.
If she is driving whilst the DVD is in use, then the power used will be replaced by the alternator in the usual way the same as if the radio or lights were on.
Generally speaking,it will consume the life-span of the car battery.
But if u connect another battery designed for DVD player.It will not.
