Where can I find a good Portable DVD player?
Can someone give me link to somewhere (online) where I can buy a portable DVD player? It needs to be able to play DVDs, and can't be over $100. Any ideas? Thanks!

What is a good Portable DVD Player that has good picture, that has a long lasting battery, and is $120 or less. I know that the best ones are more expensive than that, but in that range of price which one would you recommend for someone who is going on a pretty long plane trip?
Oh, and this is just a question I have.
For the battery length, if it goes out, do you have to charge the battery, or can you just put in new batteries?
Thanks so much!
i only have 30 dollars. without shopping online, where can i buy a portable dvd player? real answers will help, thanks.
Hi,
We are about to embark on a cross-country trip, and just bought the Philips DCP951 for our daughter.
The dvd is part of the screen itself (access from the back). My question is simple: how can I mount it to the headrest? Without it, it is not clear to me how she can watch it... and this dvd has no "base".
Thanks!
I have a small portable DVD player, Mintek. I was wondering if I could hook this up to a TV for a larger picture. Regular coaxel cables don't seem like they'd fit.
If you happen to be planning on traveling by air, taking a road trip, or simply travelling anywhere, the getaway can be made much more entertaining simply by bringing along your favourite dvd. Will you be considering on taking portable car DVD players along with you? A mobile DVD player that's good quality and equipped with very good quality headsets will make your travelling adventures a fun-filled occasion!
Before acquiring portable car DVD players you will discover a number of features that you have to take into account to make sure you pick out the ideal item that can meet your wants.
Size: Portable DVD players can on occasion feel bulky and a little on the weighty side. Regarding those players which have large batteries this is even more correct. Even though virtually all of the types can be relatively tiny in size, the weight can certainly still differ from style to style, at times with a difference of a few pounds. For that reason, it's necessary that you take a look at the weight associated with the DVD player prior to acquiring.
Outputs: A great characteristic that has been incorporated into mobile DVD players is the ability to hook up to practically any kind of entertainment unit that you might possess in the house, rendering it useful for both journeys and stationery use. Searching for a DVD player that has high quality audio/video components is valuable as this will permit you to get the greatest playback possible. Is there an S-Video output on the player? Is there an Optical Out for audio?
Supported Disc Formats: Standard DVD formats aren't the only formats being played in DVD players these days. Because of this, it's necessary to ensure that the portable DVD player can support various formats including DVD-R, CD-R, CD-RW, etc. Since an increasing number of individuals are making use of dvd burners, these types of formats are growing to be a lot more popular. In addition, the portable DVD player can easily serve a second purpose if it's capable to support CD's!
Screen Just about all players come complete with its own monitor. For that reason, before buying, look at the screen measurements and resolution. The size of the displays on the market can easily vary and often times a larger display screen will produce a much better image for the viewer. However, the bigger displays can come at a greater price, thus keep this in mind.
Battery Life: If a portable DVD player is to be mobile, then you have to be able to take it from the power source! Consequently, an individual will need to be aware of the battery life of the DVD player. Numerous DVDs will take hours to observe so you really don't desire to purchase a player that may be outlasted by the movie!
Keeping these features in mind can help you pick the best portable car DVD players for you!

Which portable DVD player would be best for this? What options should I look for? I would like to hook it up via a standard Co-ax cable. I would prefer a portable DVD player with a antenna TV tuner built in. Apparently there are a few models with such an option.
I just received a portable dvd player this Christmas. But the straps it comes with does not fit over the captain chairs in my van. Does anyone know if they have extension straps you can buy and if so where do you get them? Or maybe a makeshift way to mount the Screens?
Hi all, I recently purchased a portable DVD player, the unit is powered by the cars cigarette lighter and when the engine is running I can hear engine noise. I believe it is engine noise because the pitch changes as the revs increase. Wondering how do I remove this noise? Is there anything I can do at the cigarette light power source? If the unit is directly connected to the battery I can still hear the noise but not as bad. Thanks for your time!!!! PS the vehicle is a current VE Commodore Omega.
I need one that will connect to the headrest as it is for a small child.
